HP ENVY TouchSmart 23se-d494 All-in-One Desktop PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I upgraded my HP ENVY TouchSmart 23se-d494 from the factory windows 8 OS to windows 10. Now the buttons on the side of the computer don't work anymore. I've tried installing HP My Display OSD and it still does not work. 'HP My Display Application' does not work either.

I simply want to switch to using my HDMI input, it used to work in windows 8 version of this pc but not anymore.

Did you do a clean install of windows 10 or did you upgrade by running the in-place upgrade option?

If the buttons were working in win 8.1 and you ran the upgrade that keeps all your files then it is likely that OSD app is no tfunctioning in window 10

If you did a clean install of 10 then try a re-install of 8.1 from your cd/dvd, make sure the buttons work, then download and run the upgrade from inside of 8.1.  This is the only waw to keep your old stuff.
