HP Compaq 6005 Pro
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a user with 2 HP Compaq 6005 Pro desktops and the DIsplayPort isn't working on either machine.  I have tried every adapter I had on hand.  DVI to DisplayPort, HDMI to DisplayPort, a DVI to DisplayPort cable(no adapter).  The VGA runs to it with no problem, but they are wanting a second monitor and the new monitors only have VGA or HDMI ports.

i have checked the Display Drivers and they are up to date on the machine(although the HP Support Site is showing 6 different drivers, both NVidia and ATI) but the Device Manager isn't even showing the monitors being connected via DisplayPort.  I know the monitors work because I have connected them via VGA to each desktop and they receive signal with no problem.

I am at a loss here because they do not want to buy video cards to put in the machines.  Is this a BIOS issue?  Do I need a powered DisplayPort adapter to make them work?  Or does this system not support DisplayPort in Windows 10?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
