Display goes black after 5-6 minutes, but LED light remains white

Monitor will turn on (led light goes from amber to white) and display the screen from the hdmi port for 5-6 minutes. Then it will go blank while the led light remains white. If I turn the monitor off and then back on, the screen will flash and then go blank again. I have tried multiple hdmi cables, as well as connecting a different laptop to the display through hdmi. The same issues occur for other hdmi cables and other laptop connection.
