Goodmorning,
I need to connect an old hp2229h display to my laptop (windows 10).
Unfortunatly driver are not availble for this operating system, but I need to use some personalized configutation feature that are not available in the display "inner" configuration menu.
In detail I need to adapt the laptop screen resolution to the external display. I'm using a HDMI cable.
Someone can help me? Thank you very much!
Valentina

The driver for your display is here
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp47001-47500/sp47478.exe
Assuming the following

Strange - I have no idea where how I got that link to the nw8000. I must have had too many windows open at once. The ftp link to the file is correct as far as i can tel.

Thank you very much for your suggestions!
Unfortunatly even if I installed the driver, the monitor continues not to adapt the view to the laptop one.... a part of the image is always cut... what can I do?
Thank you,
Valentina

The monitor is limited in resolution and possibly refresh rate.
The spec says the default (recommended) resolution is
1680 x 1050 factory-set resolution
Try setting your laptop to that resolution. so they match
Another possibility is changing the size of the Icons to "small" which is done in the "view' option when right clicking on an empty space.
If the above does not help then take a picture of the problem and post it
Regards
