Hi @Sunil114,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP AIO 24-cb1907in is experiencing display issues with lines appearing on the screen, it could be caused by several factors. Here’s a troubleshooting guide to help resolve the issue:

1. Restart the PC

  • Restart your PC and check if the lines are still present. Sometimes, this can be a temporary issue that resolves with a reboot.

2. Check for Loose Connections

  • Ensure all cables connected to the PC are secure. If you have access to the back panel of your AIO, verify the connections between the motherboard and the display.

3. Update Graphics Drivers

  • Steps:
    1. Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.
    2. Expand the Display adapters section.
    3. Right-click on your graphics adapter (usually Intel, AMD, or NVIDIA) and select Update driver.
    4. Choose Search automatically for drivers.
  • Alternatively, you can visit the HP support site and download the latest drivers for your model.

4. Update Windows

  • Ensure that Windows is fully updated, as updates can resolve display-related bugs.
    • Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.

5. Check Display Settings

  • Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings.
  • Check the Resolution settings to ensure the display is set to the recommended resolution.
  • Scroll down and check for any other display issues such as scaling.

6. Test in Safe Mode

  • Boot your PC in Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. If the display is fine in Safe Mode, the problem may be due to a software or driver issue.
    • To enter Safe Mode: Press Shift while clicking Restart from the power options, then choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart, and then select Safe Mode.

7. Check for Physical Damage

  • Inspect the screen for any signs of physical damage or pressure points. If the lines appear to be caused by a crack or internal display damage, the display may need to be replaced.

8. Run HP Diagnostics

  • HP PCs come with a built-in diagnostics tool.
    1. Turn off the PC and then press the Power button while continuously pressing the F2 key.
    2. In the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics menu, select Component Tests and then run the Display Test.
  • This can help determine if there is a hardware issue with the display.

9. Connect to an External Monitor

  • If possible, connect your AIO to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the internal display or the graphics card.
  • If the external monitor works fine, it’s likely a problem with the AIO’s screen.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
