HI!

I was unable to find the specifications for your exact system.  There were 3 motherboards listed and it is not clear what your system has.

Do you have a graphics card with that you plug the monitor into?

There is no graphics card but the motherboard has built in graphics and a single HDMI?  Have a DVI in addition to HDMI?

I am guessing you have one monitor plugged into the only HDMI connector and cannot find a place to add the second.

I assume you want to extend the screen so you can work with both screens and see different items

The following CANNOT be used as it just duplicated (mirrors) the display

You may need to get a USB3 to HDMI adapter,  NOT a USBC- to HDMI cable.

I was unable to determine if your system has USB-C video out.  If it has (which I doubt) then a cheap ($14) cable will work.  If not then the adapter will be about $50-60  USD and require a driver.  I think you need to contact the seller or HP support and ask if one or any of your USB ports support video out.  Perhaps our expert  @Prométhée can identify your system.
