Product: HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The DisplayPort output on several recently purchased (June 2024) HP E24m G4 FHD USB-C Conferencing Monitors is not working. Meaning that we are not able to get the DisplayPort output on the display to send a signal to a second display.

 

We purchased a bunch of these in 2023, same model, and are having no issues. Basically, I can connect my own laptop to the displays purchased in 2023 and the output works as expected. The same laptop, same configuration, does not work on the units purchased in 2024.

 

It appears that the display is being seen, as the laptop and conferencing monitor act like they are trying to recognize the display, but it fails after about four attempts.

I have performed the following checks for updates:

Display Firmware
BIOS

Graphic Card

*All were up-to-date

 

I have attempted on multiple laptop models, tried different cable combinations. I have also played around with the settings on the display with no luck.

 

I am at a loss in making these work.
