Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know which display cable to purchase for your monitor.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
You can purchase any cable based on the connectors (Like HDMI or DVI) and should work fine with the monitor.
Or you can purchase all the replacement parts available for your monitor from the HP part surfer.
Follow the steps in the below article for detailed instructions.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00372736
Or else you can contact support and they will assist you in this regard.
Here is how you can get in touch with support.
1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Hey guys, lets see if it works... I used this instruction and my screen still doesn't work. However, I started looking for options to fix this problem. I spent a lot of time trying to find the right option and as it turned out I had problems with the HDMI cable that could not give me the desired resolution and picture (I used to watch on YouTube as a guy playing with high resolution). Finding the problem found the site https://www.technize.com/best-displayport-cables/ which helped solve the problem.
