I want to now if my All-in-One desktop models cr0xxx HP support functioning as a secondary monitor.?

The HDMI port on the 27-cr000i and 27-cr000a are for output only

 

You can project onto your 27 AIO using WiFi  for browsing or watching video / movies, but interactive gaming lags terrible.

You can project your laptop to any WiFi enabled system such as TV or Monitor with WiFi adapter
Some TV are smart but others need a dongle such as ROKU or Microsoft.

This link here gives instructions on adding a laptop to desktop as a monitor or vice-versa using Wi-Fi
