HP EliteDisplay E243d 23.8-inch Docking Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone, first time posting here!

I have the "HP EliteDisplay E243d" that I use as my docking on my working station. I plug everything on him like keyboard, mouse and camera and just use the USB-C connect to my laptop "HP EliteBook 840 G8 Notebook PC". It was working perfectly, also charging my notebook without a need of extra charger. I had one problem last year, when I got a new Windows update and the dock stopped working, that time I had to buy a new USB-C cable, 10gb (thunderbolt 3 I guess). It happened again, and I bought again a new cable, not now Thunderbolt 4, 40gb, 240w, 8k. Now it is working again, but my latpot is not charging! I tried to reset the battery holding the power button for 15seg, when I do this, the battery starts to charge but when it recognize the monitor, it stops again.

All drivers are updated, I had also changed the monitor configuration but nothing worked. Hope anyone can help me.

Thanks!
