I have pro tower 400 g9 core i5. Unfortunately when i plug my 4k monitor to hdmi port of the pc, it only shows FullHD at most. In the specification it says it support 8k with 60hz. I used 8k cable but still doesn't display 4k. Please help me.

Hi @Milkias
if you have a HDMI 1.4 I think you should set the refresh rate to 30 Hz to display 4K, I recommend using the displayport to HDMI port which has a 4K resolution at 60 Hz.

Thank you for replying an answer.
I have tried to reduce the refresh rate to 30hz even though the windows display max of 1980 x 1080 resolution.
I am setting up dual monitor system so i am using the display to one monitor which works fine and display 4k.
When i and the second monitor to the hdmi port then there is a reduction in resolution to fullhd.
When i only use the hdmi port it still shows fullhd.
So the main question is why the hdmi port has a resolution of maximum 1980 x 1080.
I am using hdmi 2.1.

Thank you for the effort you made to answer my question.
Just to correct the information i provided, I have made some googling and the pc hdmi is 1.4 and the monitor hdmi is 2.0.
I assume that hdmi 2.0 is backward compatible with hdmi 1.4. Since i have no choice in changing the monitors, i have to return the PCs.
Anyways thank you again.
