HP V22 FHD monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I currently use a DELL Latitude 5320 Laptop connected to a HP V22 FHD monitor.

The HP V22 FHD has one HDMI and one VGA port.

The Dell laptop only has one HDMI port, 2 USB ports, and 2 USB-c ports with one acting as the charge port.

I want to connect a second monitor so I can leave my laptop closed and not have to use the screen on the device.

If i bought a second HP V22 monitor and connected both of them together using a VGA cable, and then one of the monitors to my laptop using a HDMI cable would that work?

so in essence:

Mon 1 VGA>------< Mon 2 VGA

Mon 2 HDMI>-------<  Laptop HDMI

and I want to be able to extend the displays not just duplicate.

any help of advice welcome
