I have an HP Pavilion with AMD Ryzan 7 processor. I am unable to get my two monitors to work as dual monitors on this machine. I used the two monitors successfully on my previous HP desktop which I just replaced with this HP Pavilion. I have one monitor connected through the VGA port and the other through the HDMI port, using a VGA to HDMI cable. When I set up the monitors to work as dual monitors, I am unable to move items using the mouse to the other screen. The mouse "stops" at the primary screen. I have checked the settings for the mouse and it is set to "ease cursor movement between multiple displays". I have tried switching the monitors between ports and I have tried using a wired mouse vs wireless. Nothing works.
Does this system not support dual monitors through the display adaptor? I am very frustrated to have a new computer that does not function as well as my older computer.
