I am trying to connect two Dell 27" monitors (both only HDMI connectivity) using (1) HDMI connection and (1) VGI to HDMI adapter. My monitor connected with the HDMI cable works as it's supposed to, but the other display connected with the VGA to HDMI connector will not show a picture. In the display settings, the desktop recognizes that there are 2 displays connected and the display extension attributes work as they should, but there's just a blank display on the 1. I switched connectors thinking maybe my monitor was bad but all that did was switch which display stopped working. New desktop came with Windows 11 OS, wondering if there's an issue with that.

What is your computer ?  I think you mean VGA (analog) to HDMI (digital), from VGA to HDMI you need a proper converter, which  adapter  do you use. In many cases you have to use NATIVE VGA to connect to second monitor. I need to know your machine, again what is it ? Please use the following way to work it out
