HP AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics

Hello!

I have been trying to set up a second monitor, I have an HP AMD Ryzen Series 5 3400g with Radeon Vega Graphics, product number 6YQ59AA#ABA, Product name HP Desktop M01-F0xxx, and I have been having a hard time connecting the 2nd monitor. I have one monitor connected by the HDMI port on the monitor to the HDMI port on the back of my desktop, but now I cannot find another cord to connect my 2nd monitor to one of the remaining ports on the computer. If anyone knows the cable I need, that'd be greatly appreciated. My 2nd monitor has an HMDI port, DisplayPort, and USB-A ports. Maybe some form of HDMI splitter? USB-A to USB-A? Is VGA port an option? I am completely lost. Thanks in advance!

Your machine is an HP Desktop - M01-F0024, its specs

            https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c06442767

It has following ports at its back

  • (4) USB 2.0 Type-A ports
  • (1) RJ-45/Ethernet port
  • (1) HDMI v1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port
  • (1) VGA port
  • (2) Audio ports

HDMI splitter won't give you TRUE dual monitors because they come from SAME signals. You can use HDMI and VGA (native, no conversion) to get 2 monitors.

Regards.
