HP Desktop PC M01-F2000i (4LSF7AV)

I have connected 2 monitors to my pc. They show the same image. But I want to change settings to extended. Settings cannot be changed because the second monitor is not detected in settings. The button "Detect monitor" does not work. 

Monitors are connected to pc via HDMI splitter.

Using a HDMI splitter will not give a second monitor a connection that the PC can see as all it does is duplicate the HDMI signal. The second monitor must be connected using another video output.  If it has a VGA or USB-C outputs may support a second monitor.  Other possibilities are using a USB to HDMI convertor similar to this
