HP ProDesk 400 G5 SFF
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

We have installed a HP ProDesk 400 G5 SFF and connected 2 screens (HP Compaq LA2006x) both with displayport cables

At startup the 1st screen starts with the PC's HP logo, when Windows is started, the 1st screen goes black, monitor led is blue but the monitors menu is not working.

2nd screen is now on and Black (as usual for Windows logon screen)

When we turn of srceen 1 and turn it on again, all is working as it should be.

When we swap the displayport cables (at pc side) the problem appears on the other screen.

How is this possible?

Hi,

I am not sure how this is possible but it is usual that Windows when starting is displaying only on one screen.

I had similar problem with displayport (when there were one HDMI and one Disp.P, it was working w/o issues) and there wasnt any driver for my displays so I installed universal display driver and viola! It is working as expected 🙂

Try to google some universal display driver.
