E27d G4

A laptop PC is connected to E27d with a USB-C cable and a secondary monitor is chained to E27d with a DP cable. Both are 2560x1440 native resolution.

The odd behavior is, when E27d monitor is set to USB-C Video + USB 3.0 (Settings -> Input -> USB-C Configuration), the secondary monitor resolution is limited to a low-res of 1280x1024 or similar. E27d runs fine at native resolution.

Only switching E27d setting  to  USB-C Video + USB 2.0 would enable running the secondary monitor to its full resolution.

Updated E27d to the latest FW with no improvement.

* You have to unplug-plug the USB-C monitor cable after switching between USB2.0 <-> USB3.0 settings for changes to take effect.

Does that issue have a workaround?

Thanks,

Mark
