I have connected my laptop to HP desktop monitor and projecting a duplicate. I am unable to disconnect the two. What is the key shortcut for the desktops own display to be shown?

Thanks

Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, you are trying to stop projecting or exit the project mode.

Don't worry, I'm here to help!

Let's try these steps -

1) Press and hold down the "Windows" key and the "P" key together

2) Select "PC screen only" from the right side.

Hope this helps!

Let me know how that goes.
