Hi @Hhump
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for explaining the setup so clearly. It’s genuinely frustrating to invest in dual HP 532sf monitors and find your HP Pavilion Wave 600-a014 isn’t detecting them—especially when you're aiming for a seamless extended display experience.
Let’s walk through a structured approach to help you get both screens working.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
1. Confirm Available Video Outputs
The HP Pavilion Wave 600-a014 typically includes:
- 1 HDMI port
- 1 DisplayPort
- Integrated Intel HD Graphics 530
This setup supports dual monitors, but each must be connected to a separate video output (HDMI and DisplayPort). If both monitors are connected via HDMI using a splitter, only one will be detected.
2. Check Monitor Input Settings
- On each HP 532sf monitor, press the Menu/Input button
- Ensure the correct input source is selected (HDMI or DisplayPort)
- Confirm that the cable is securely connected and not damaged
3. Extend Display via Windows Settings
- Right-click on the desktop > Display Settings
- Scroll to Multiple Displays
- Click Detect if the second monitor isn’t showing
- Select Extend these displays from the dropdown
4. Update Graphics Driver
- Visit the HP Pavilion Wave 600-a014 support page
- Download and install the latest Intel HD Graphics 530 driver
- Restart the system and check display detection again
5. Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Download HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows
- Launch the tool and run a Component Test > Video Output Test
- This will confirm whether both ports are functioning correctly
If one of the ports is inactive or the second monitor still isn’t detected, let me know how each monitor is connected—I’ll guide you through adapter options or alternative configurations.
You're not alone in this, and we’ll get it sorted.
