I've just purchased a HP 15s-fq1003na 15.6" Laptop. It has 2 standard USB 3.1 ports, 1 USB-C 3.1 port and an HDMI port. I want to hook it up to 2 external monitors and use them with an extended display format.
The monitors I have each have HDMI and DisplayPort input. I've managed to use a HDMI to HDMI cable to hook up to one monitor but don't know how to get the second monitor hooked up. I've heard about using a USB-C to HDMI cable but that my USB C cable according the the specs is data only. Does this mean no video. How can I get this second display set up?

Its specs

That is true, it only has 1 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C™ (Data Transfer Only, 5 Gb/s signaling rate) port. If you wish to have 2 or more external monitors (and notebook monitor - total 3), please enter your requirement on the following link and it will find for you few USB-A DisplayLink Certified options on market today including some HP products (you can select HP before Search)

@banhein
I’m confused because the usb- A ports are also data only. (2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A (Data Transfer Only)). Will the USB-A ports work with a DisplayLink? If so why not with the USB-C as they are both Data only?
