Microsoft Windows 11

I recently purchased HP Laptop 15-ef2033dx; had a Lenovo before that worked with HDMI output to my Samsung UHD Monitor (U28R55*). Plugging in the monitor to the new HP and the HP does not detect the monitor. I am switched out of S mode. Things I have done to troubleshoot already:

Connecting this Monitor to another Notebook or computer to rule out any issues with the HDMI connector.

Updated the Graphics driver from Device Manager

Downloaded the monitor's driver from Samsung's website

Updated the BIOS

Windows OS is up to date

Restarted in between each update/install.

Tried changing the resolution, currently at 1280x720

Any additional troubleshooting suggestions would be appreciated.
