HP Touchsmart 520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installed a new HDD and put Win10 on it all working fine.... At the end I put the back cover on but PC was not coming on. I tried a few time to no avail. Opened the back again and noticed fan is not truning..... that was because its cable had got caught somewhere so I fixed that. Turned it on and fan started this time but could not see anything on the screen. On closer inspection I found the HP logo, etc on the creen but it is extremely faint, hard to see. Help!

Part of the computer's screen is an "inverter". It generates the power to make the screen "bright".

If it has failed, then, as you have observed, the screen is very dim.

Is the HP Warranty still in effect? If so, HP will repair/replace your computer.

If the warranty has expired, then, for a fee, HP will repair your computer, as would any HP-certified computer technician in your local area.
