I've been trying to change my aspect ratio to 4:3, and on Intel graphics center it shows me i have a fixed aspect ratio. Is there any way to disable the fixed aspect ratio?
My device is HP Pavilion 23cw

@Brunjiks, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Switch to a 4:3 Resolution First
Intel won't allow aspect ratio changes unless you pick a non-native resolution.
Go to Windows Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties.
Under the Adapter tab > Click "List All Modes".
Select a 4:3 resolution, such as:
1024x768
1280x960
1600x1200 (if supported)
Apply the resolution.
Now re-open Intel Graphics Command Center or Control Panel — you should now see the scaling/aspect ratio options become changeable.
Open Intel Graphics Command Center > Display > Scaling
Once you're in a 4:3 resolution:
Go to Display > Scaling
Change from “Maintain Aspect Ratio” (or “Fixed Aspect Ratio”) to “Stretch” or “Center Image”.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
If my response helped, please mark it as an Accepted Solution! ✅ It helps others and spreads support. 💙 Also, tapping "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" makes a big difference! Thanks! 😊
