HP All-In-One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have had this computer for approximately 2 years and have never thought to get the touchscreen working. I looked up videos how to activate it, and so I attempted to follow directions to do so. Simply my issue, when I go to the device manager to enable touchscreen under the Human Interface Devices, it is not populated under that drop down. I have searched all the other drop downs, but its not there. I have updated several times to see if that would fix or populate it, but no success there either. I have scanned many times for changes to hardware to no result either.

I don't know what else to try, or where to go to maybe download software for it I may be missing. Please help.

I have Windows 10 home.

@braig1028 Welcome to HP Community!

I have a few steps that should resolve your concern:

I recommend checking if the Touch is working on BIOS (Accessed by tapping on F10 while restarting the computer).

If it works on bios, it's a software issue, update the drivers from the HP Website, if the issue persists: please reinstall windows using the recovery partition or the recovery media to fix the issue

Attempt to run a test using the HP hardware diagnostic tool

If it doesn't work on BIOS or the diagnostics tool either,

it's a hardware failure and you may need to Contact HP to set up a hardware repair service.
