Product: HP M22f FHD Monitor
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I've had this monitor for home use for 3 months and shortly after purchase, I have a glitched screen (intermittently occurs about 70% of the time) when I wake or boot up my Macbook Pro (2019).  I've uploaded a photo.  Speaking with HP Customer service left me frustrated because their entire "angle" was to blame it on the Macbook.  I use the macbook with other monitors (Lenovo/Dell) at work without issues.  They also suggested my monitor settings could be the problem.  Anyone with a Mac knows there are only a few settings -- Default or Scaled resolution and then refresh rate (50, 60 or 75Hz).  That's it.  I have it set at the monitor's Default (1080p) and 60Hz.  My belief is that this is a warranty issue but would like the experts here to chime in.  Thank you!
