HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2170m CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an HP Gaming Desktop.  The graphics card is bad.  Keeps crashing my system.  Fan never engages and gets hot.  Have talked (for hours and hours) to HP support but can't get any satisfaction.  I call them and they keep moving me to someone else with no help.  Whenever I try to access support online, all the link does is just cycle never connecting me to anyone or anywhere.  Very Very Very Frustrated and Very sorry I bought this system from HP.  Won't do it again!  IN the meantime....has anyone had a problem with graphics card in their Desktop Gaming system and if so how did you fix?  Secondly, How in the heck do you get help from HP Support without spending hours on the phone?  I can't tell you how frustrated I am.  Thanks

You have a discrete graphics card, either AMD or NVidia.  Since this is not a built in or custom device you should be able to use drivers downloaded from AMD or NVidia and can also use 3rd party fan control such as MSI afterburner.

If overheating problem  download and install MSI afterburner

You mention the fan never engages. Does it spin up when the system is powered up and then never spins again?

If it never spins at all please check for dust or something blocking it.  The fan should spin easily when flicked. and the afterburner program should be abled to control it else a defect.
