HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a0055
Microsoft Windows 11

I recently had an issue which required me to reinstall my O/S (Windows 11)...after installation the ability to switch to the HDMI IN  port is no longer available.  CTRL+Shift+S+D no longer works and there is no HP display icon in the hidden icons area like previously.  How do I restore this functionality?

Hi @Taboni22

Please check your machine, does it have a button (location 5 of the first image) and HDMI in port (location 8 on the second image)? If yes, you can use that button to tell your system which HDMI port (in or out) you want to use.

Let me know if this fixes it.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks  model is  HP ENVY All-In-One - 32-A0055.   I found that the monitor settings button switches the input if I click it to the right but CTRL+SHIFT+S+D is inactive still.

Thanks  I am able to use that button (forgot about it’s location but working now). I am still unable to use CTRL+SHIFT+S+D however, but the screen control button will suffice
