Hi @Lidia1

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Have you tried an alternate HDMI cable or tried connecting the monitor to another computer?

While you respond to that, go to the OSD menu and manually select the HDMI input.  Press the Menu button to open the OSD, and then select Input or Input Control.

If the issue still persists, try a reset -

1) Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
2) Hold the power button down for at least one minute
3) Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet.
