HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0066
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

I just purchased an HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0066 and I am having a hard time setting up the dual monitors. The desktop has an HDMI and VGA port. The monitors only work when plugged in to the VGA input, but there is only one port so I need to be able to use the HDMI input in order to use the dual monitors.

Can anyone help with this?

Thank you!

I reviewed your post and understand that you are facing issues setting up the dual monitor on your computer.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

I recommend you follow the steps in the below video and check if it resolves the issue.

If you continue to face the issue, follow the below steps and check.

  1. Make sure your cables are connected properly to the new monitors. Your PC should automatically detect them and show your desktop.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the desktop on any screen and choose Display settings. Scroll down to Multiple Displays, click the drop-down menu and choose a display setting.
  3. Choose one of the Duplicate desktop options to show the same things on multiple screens. Pick Extend desktop to extend your work surface.

Let me know how it goes. Awaiting your reply!
