The HID-compliant Touch screen driver is missing from my HP 22-b065na all-in-one PC and the Touch Screen no longer works to touch. The driver for the touch screen does not show in Device manager and no method of updating or rollbacks have solved the problem. The online HP assistant says I have all the correct drivers but this cannot be correct as it is missing in Device manager and cannot be located anywhere else on the PC. I have asked Microsoft for help, thinking it could be a Windows issue but they insist I need to get a new driver from HP. The problem is how, as no touchscreen driver is listed for my model.

@REB-58_ -- Is this your computer: HP All-in-One - 22-b065na (Touch) (ENERGY STAR) PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
If so, did you purchase it in 2016, when it first became available?
Did the touch-screen previously work?
> missing in Device Manager
That seems to be a "hardware" problem -- the touch-screen is internally wired as a USB-device, and treated as such. If there is some "connection" issue, then the motherboard cannot detect the touch-screen.
Is the computer less than one year old? If so, contact HP Support, to get free repair/replacement.
Otherwise, either find a local HP-certified technician, and pay to get it repaired, or pay HP to get it repaired.
