HP 22eb 21.5 inch monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello!

I'm having a rather unusual issue with my monitor that's come up the last month or so.  When I turn my computer monitor on, the power light blinks several times and shows the screen, then goes blank and blinks the light, and I have to press the power button eight or nine times to get it to finally settle on the screen and stay there.  I have two video cards installed on this particular computer, my primary is a GeForce 1050 Ti pascal 4GB DDR5 and the Intel HD 630 that came with the i7-7700 Kaby Lake processor.  Everything works fine, except for the first few minutes when the computer monitor is started.

I've reset the factory settings on the monitor, turned off auto-input, and updated the HP driver.  So far no effect, any help would be most appreciated!

Yes, the other monitor worked fine.  I had to switch due to the need for HDMI compatibility and although the monitor works well it takes time to start up.  I'll probably have to call up, thank you.
