HP Monitor 2310i
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have this monitor HP 2310i, had it for a long time, probably 10 years, always worked fine.

I use my computer with two monitors, a recent one as my main monitor, and the HP 2310i as my second side monitor. I used those two together for a year now, everything was fine until two days ago. Now, only my recent one works, the HP 2310i screen just doesn't show anything, and the LED of the power button blinks blue. So the monitor itself is working, and the LED isn't orange, so not in "sleep mode".

Using the physical buttons on the monitor doesn't seem to do anything, if it does, I wouldn't know since it doesn't show anything on the screen.

I thought maybe the physical buttons were locked, because I know it's an option, to lock them, but I held the power button in order to unlock them, and still nothing, keeps blinking blue.

I looked up on the Internet, didn't find anything about a blinking blue LED on this type of monitor.

Furthermore, I downloaded the HP Support application, when it came to detecting my HP products, it didn't find anything, yet my computer does find my monitor !

I am out of ideas as to why my monitor doesn't work all of a sudden. I haven't changed anything on my computer recently.

Is it just my monitor's way of saying it is too old for this world ? 😛

Thanks in advance for any help.
