24f Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought HP24f (24" Monitor) a few months back. I was not satisfied with the color reproduction on my new monitor but since I ordered it specially and supplier said it can't be returned, I kept using it. Now since issue is hard to ignore, I would like to get help from experts here.

I use Windows 10 64 bit with i7, 20GB RAM, Nvidia 1060 6GB GPU and HDMI port for my display and I am not complaining about resolution but color accuracy.

Colors are highly bright and inaccurate. Like Green color looks neon kind of green, Red seems like Orange and there's plenty of shades in Yellow which are not visible (from site like pingdom.com) that I usually see pretty good on mobiles, and other desktops)

To solve this problem, I tried all combination given within display feature as well, try to set via NVIDIA Graphics Management but problem stays same. It's fine until I have to work on Graphics as I can't claim what kind of color I am playing with and that degrades my output quality very heavily.

Is there any software from HP that can help me overcome with this issue?

Just to help you understand how inaccurate colors are reproduced is 4 out of 10.

Welcome to HP support community.

Connect this monitor to a different computer and check?

Alternatively, you can connect an alternate monitor to this PC and check for the color accuracy.

To fix incorrect colors, complete the following steps:

1.Check the video cable connections and make sure the connection is not loose. Tighten the connection screws if the connector is          loose.

2.Press the Auto or Autoselect button on the display.

3. Press Menu, and select Factory Reset

If you are using a HP PC, you can update the Bios and graphics card drivers using HP support assistant.

Refer this HP document for the steps to use HPSA:- Click here

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
