HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0067c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

With the above Monitor I can & have gone from one PC to another as it has a Dual HDMI feed.  Now my? is, can I see both PC's at the same time with a split screen? The PC's are both the same Brand & Model and I want to see exactly what is in the C & D Drives as the 2nd one belongs to my Great Grandson and he is having some issues with the PC.  If I can split the screen looking at both PC's @ the same time it will be much easier.  If not I will have to switch back and forth to do what I want to do it would just be easier to view both at the same time, . It is simple to go back & forth just hit the button on the bottom of the monitor.

Thanks for any assistance.

If I understand what you are asking, to view what your grandson is doing and help at the same time, I recommend using the free splashtop to allow remote access.

https://www.splashtop.com/downloads#pers

Install splashtop streamer on the grandsons PC and splashtop personal on yours

You can connect to his PC using splashtop to see what he is doing.

Splashtop can handle two monitors easily.

Actually what I’m trying to do is look at both PC’s side by side on one screen so I can view and compare the C drives & the D drives.  He has been having some problems lately and they are both the same machine so I want to look at them to see if I can move some stuff off his “C” drive to his D drive to reload it and make it work better.  If the monitor won’t let me do that it will let me look at 1 PC at a time which will help out just easier to view both machines at the same time.

There are apps that can compare one disk to another comparing files.

I found Microsoft Synctoy to be quite useful and recommend it.  Unfortunately it was discontinued as I just now found out.

I have no idea why it was discontinued. It runs fine on win10 and 11 and I can make a copy of it available for download if you want to try it.

You may find the "tree" app useful.   It can be run in two command prompts using

tree c:\ | more

tree d:\ | more

You also get a directory listing of all files

dir/s d:\ | more
