My display has recently stopped working, when it turns on the screen is black and a message saying input not detected shows up briefly before disappearing. It lists the 3 ports (2hdmi and one vca) and it says inactive next to each despite the fact that my laptop is plugged into the hdmi. occasionally it will flash on and display my screen but this only lasts for a couple of seconds before it goes black again. i have fully updated my graphics drivers, display drivers and tried with multiple hdmi cables as well as factory reset the monitor using its menu options. Any help would be appreciated
thanks

This appears to be a weak signal problem but first try to identify the device with the problem.
Does the monitor work with dvd, xbox or similar "set top" appliance?
If it works then laptop is problem
If worked before perhaps a screen setting had made a difference and weakened the signal strength. Set display to 2k instead of 4k.
Change number of colors to lower value.
Try the "dark" windows look.
If any of the above make a difference you need a better cable maybe a fiberoptic or even an "active hdmi". For what it is worth my surface pro 4 has the same problem and I was told by Microsoft to get an Active HDMI cable.
Good Luck!
