I have the HP 690-0013w with the Nvidia 1050, can I upgrade the graphics card in this machine?

It is not indicated if the power supply has an additional pci connector.
So you will need a card that does not consume much more, and check if connectors are required and available

as i mentioned you need to check some points
all graphics cards are different, depending on manufacturer, model, many items may be different
You need to find a model, check the dimensions, check the required power supply, and if necessary additional PCI slots.

Unless a specific model has already been tested, with the same computer, no one can guarantee that this or that graphics card will work.
