HP Pavilion all in one 27xa0014na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the past few weeks, on startup, I keep getting a warning pop up box, supposedly from HP with the message: HP Display Warning.  The message goes on to say: "HP Display control needs to be updated" and the following link is given to update:

https://www.portrait.com/dtune/hps/enu/index.html

When it first appeared, I clicked on link and updated.  Now I cannot get rid of the box and it appears every time I startup my computer.  How do I get rid of it?

I'm not techy, so a simple and quick solution would be really helpful

@stumicste Portrait Displays is a legit company that provides color display solutions with advanced display control, however, it's not an important software as such,

If the popup keeps re-appearing, you can always restore to the previous date before installing the update, first and then disable HP Display Control via the Task Manager or uninstall it via Control Panel.

Note: It is not needed and will not affect any of the main functionality.

So go ahead and install it if you plan to update the program – else you can always disable it.

Restart the device when done and check if it works.

P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
