I am trying to apply a firmware update to my monitor to fix the flickering over Display Port.
This is the firmware:
I have 2 identical monitors running in dual display, but I disconnect one monitor before updating.
I have connected the USB cable to the active monitor. I verified it works by attaching a USB thumb drive to one of the monitor ports and was able to see it.
When I run the firmware update tool, I get this message:
Any help appreciated.

According to the update instructions you did exactly what was required.
Possibly the antivirus is not allowing the update. For example, I cannot even unpack the download let alone run the install.
When you run sp112535 it will put itself into c:\SWSetup\sp112535
some antivirus may object to an app that runs directly off of the C drive
You can substitute your download folder such as c:\users\yourusername\downloads\sp112535
Look also in the window event viewer under applications and system for any error messages.
It is possible the firmware upgrade as not been tested well with windows 11. You might borrow a windows 10 PC. Possibly running the install under windows 10 emulation. may work.
