HP EliteDisplay E231 23-inch LED Backlit Monitor
Linux

Dear Community,

I have an issue with my HP E231 monitor.

Yesterday, it was connected to my usual computer and everything worked fine. When I come back today, I firstly saw that the power led was white (it is usually orange when the computer is not connected). Anyway, I tried to connect the computer and.... nothing (no display and no message, etc). I do not even have access to the menu of the monitor, as if the screen was just broken (Very strange as I am alone and didn't touch this screen from yesterday).

I tried to unplug it and plug again and still the same : Power Button White (ON) but nothing on the screen. I tried to stay pushed on the power button, to connect another power cord, with another port, with another computer, etc and nothing worked !!!

What is really strange is that even if it was just an issue with the screen, the power button should turn off when I turn off the screen ( or be orange when no connection). On the contrary, if the issue was with the power button, I should still have stuff on the screen when I click on the Menu button or when I connect the computer.....

Does someone has an idea on what I can do ?

Cheers
