HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a1035
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP ENVY All-in-One - 32-a1035 won't go into sleep mode automatically through settings.  And, if I manually do it, it won't stay.  I haven't found any solution yet.  Any ideas would be appreciated!

@Beherenow,

You may want to try to connect your AIO to an alternate monitor to find out if this is either a hardware or a software failure.

If it is the case that your issue is resolved with an alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer.

If the issue reappears on the alternate monitor, re-install the graphics card drivers and update it from the official HP Website as found here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-all-in-one-pc-32-a1000i/32482438.

If you do not have access to an alternate monitor, the recommendation is to check if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS). Wait.

If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers and update BIOS using the aforementioned link.

Hope this resolves your issue.

Kind regards,
