Product: HP EliteDisplay E243d 23.8-inch Docking Monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got the above mentioned monitor yesterday, and I plugged a usb-c cable from the usb c slot on the monitor to my desktop as I thought it was just to connect the webcam, as well as the hdmi, and it auto selected the usb cable as the source and i didnt realize it until today, and when i try  to switch the source to the hdmi, earlier it was showing a blank desktop, with no icons on it or anything, and now it just isnt displaying anything and says to check source or cable
