HP EliteDisplay E273q
macOS 10.14 Mojave

After buy this new model a week ago I realize that is not charging my MacbookPro 2019 laptop. The icon of charging is showing, but is not charging.

I´m using the official USB-C cable received with the screen.

If there's no solution I'm afraid I will have to return it. The main reason to buy this model, was to avoid have more than one cable.

This monitor only delivers 15W for power through the USB-C port.

1 USB Type-C™ (upstream, power delivery up to 15 W)

If your MacBook Pro is running the 15W is most likely not enough to charge the battery and power the laptop.  So it will show as plugged in but not charging.

Here is an Apple Support Document on this.
