HP HD2300
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a HD2300 webcam. The box states that it's compatible with windows 10, however the website only offers drivers for windows xp, windows 7, and windows 8. The webcam came with a disk which probably has the correct drivers, but my PC doesn't have a disk drive so that's not an option. Is there any other place I could download the drivers I need?

After reading your post, I did go through the software and driver download and found that there are no drivers available for windows 10. In this scenario. I would suggest you try these steps here: 

 

Go to this link: HP PCs - Webcam Troubleshooting (Windows 10, 😎 and scroll down to the heading: Video does not display in your webcam software (such as YouCam, Skype, Messenger, etc.) Then, follow Step 3: Update or change the webcam driver. Over here I would suggest here is to change the camera driver to the, Microsoft USB Video Device driver.

 

I hope this should do the trick. Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
