Hello,
The OSD volume bar used to work great until yesterday. Now, to get it to work after powering on I have to click on HP MediaSmart in the start menu or taskbar. Then it works fine until I shut down my PC & power it back up & click on
MediaSmart again. My version of MS is 3.1.1.12
Will someone please help ? I've included a screenshot of the volume bar.
Thank You !!

Hi,
Thank you for replying but I took care of the problem. I had no luck updating the drivers. Then I went to
system configuration > startup tab & saw HP MediaSmart SmartMenu was unchecked. I checked & applied it & VIOLA !!
Maybe some glitch unchecked it or whatever but I'm glad I got back as it should be.
Btw, have you seen my post from last March about the icons ?
Can No Longer Change Icons For Edge Apps In Taskbar - HP Support Community - 8070188
I'm still struggling with it. Please let me know if you have any solutions.
Thank you again !

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
After reading your post I did go through your Desktop driver page and found out No software drivers are available as the product reached the end of support life. Try Windows Update and HP Support Assistant in order to update missing drivers:
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon .
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks for replying.
Btw, I have no "Kudos/Thumbs Up" @ the bottom right of my screen to say "Thanks" for your effort.
I also figured out my issue regarding the missing "Properties" option to change the icon for an installed
Edge app. I will post the solution there when I have time & I hope it will help others.
Please let me know what's up with the Kudos/Thumbs Up issue. Thanks !
Have a great day !
