HP Mixed Reality Headset goes blank

Over the last few days my GPU has deterioted to the point where I get blank screens on my monitor display without my Mixed Reality Headset attached.

Upon careful inspection I discovered that my PSU power connectors to my GPU keep half popping out. How embarassing, it has nothing to do with a faulty headset or drivers or a dying GPU.
