Hp Omen by HP 32 W9s97aa. The screen jumps vertically every 2 seconds even when not connected to a computer. I have looked at the spares catalog for parts and see no internal parts. Do you know what is causing this and what part needs to be replaced?

@LeonardoK, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP OMEN 32 Vertical Jump Issue!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The issue you're describing, where the HP OMEN 32 monitor jumps vertically every few seconds even when not connected to a computer, could be due to several underlying causes. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially resolve the issue:

Check Power Supply and Cord: Ensure that the power supply and power cord are properly connected and functioning. Sometimes, power issues can cause display instability.

Run Diagnostics: HP monitors often come with built-in diagnostic tools. Access the on-screen display (OSD) menu using the joystick control at the back of the monitor. Navigate to the Diagnostics section and run any available tests to check for hardware issues.

Reset Monitor Settings: Access the OSD menu and reset the monitor settings to factory defaults. This can sometimes resolve display issues.

Firmware Update: Check if there is any firmware update available for the HP OMEN 32 monitor. Visit the HP support website and look for updates specific to your monitor model (W9S97AA).

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Here is what I have done:

Check Power Supply Cord: Checked the power supply and tried another power supply with no change in the issue.

Run Diagnostics: There are no diagnostics in the menu of this monitor. I also has no joystick. Perhaps you were thinking about a different model.

Reset monitor: Reset to factory made no difference.

Firmware Update: No firmware listed on the HP site for this model.

Problem remains. Thanks for trying to help. Any other ideas?
