HP Pavilion 20

Hi,

I am trying to repair a HP Pavilion 20 where screen doens't work?

I have switched out RAM and harddrive with no change. I have also changed out the motherboard battery which has been the only issue for the last two PCs that screen wasn't working.

So, I am not sure what is the issue here.

Anyne with a sugestion will be welcome.

Thanks,

John

@Johnz414,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and understand that you are facing issues with the display on the computer.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • When was the last time the computer was working fine?
  • Do you see any lights on the keyboard when you power on the computer?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

While you respond to that, I recommend you connect the computer to an external display (Like TV or a monitor) and check whether you are getting display on the external monitor.

Let me know how it goes. Awaiting your reply!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Good day! Take care 🙂

Cheers!
