Microsoft Windows 11

We have a fairly new (March 2024) Hp Pavilion AIO 27" touchscreen.

The video screen seems like it has a loose cable.  Often the colors are off, and when you adjust the angle of the monitor, it can improve or get worse.

I tried updating drivers, both through HP recs as well as intel.  I ended up having to reinstall windows from safe mode.

How can i get this fixed?

Hi @albopicuts,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

  • Does this happen (flickering) only in the web browser?
  • Have you checked with YouTube videos?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Bios default:

  1. Restart your notebook.
  2. After the computer restarts, press F10 repeatedly until the BIOS menu displays. ...
  3. When the BIOS menu displays, press F9 to restore factory defaults.
  4. Select Yes to confirm.
  5. Press F10 to save changes and exit.

Next, let's perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant:

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Install updates from HP Support Assistant.

  1. To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
And, also update BIOS: Follow steps from the link:

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
