Knowing this is a redundant post by this time, I had to ask. I purchased my AIO desktop w/Touchscreen in 2017 with WIndows 10 Home (64 bit). It worked fine for a while, but after an update, like the many 1000s of other users post I have read and researched over the last 3+ years, my Touchscreen stopped working and disappeared from my Device Manager, etc. ANd no troubleshooting has brought it back. I just was wondering if there was an ETA or even just a reference to when an HID-compliant firmware for AIO Pavilion 27 may/may not be released. There is a Touchscreen Firmware with Update Utility for supported models running a supported operating system but for ILITEK since 2017.
Please advise

-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Hey Bhickey30040,
I dont know if this solves your problem, but I had an similar issue with my spectre x360 notebook. The touchscreen wasnt working. I figured out, that the HID compliant touchscreen driver was missing (look in device manager -->input devices).
I tried many things (HP Assistant/Windows Update doesnt work for me, everything was updated there) and ended up in loading Driver Easy and update all my drivers. After two restarts it works perfectly right now and the driver is now showing up. It seems to be a driver problem.
I hope this can help you 🙂
